Calen is one of the two principal owners of The Metropolitan Group a division of RE/MAX Unlimited Inc.  Calen is a Broker Associate, Assistant Manager and Property Management Expert within the company.   He also serves as an expert in contracts and disagreement resolution.  Calen holds both real estate and mortgage licenses.

Born in Denver, Calen attended Regis Jesuit High School.  He went on to graduate from The University of Colorado in Boulder with a Bachelors degree in International Business and Spanish in 2004. After graduation, Calen spent time translating documents and contracts for companies ranging from engineering firms to mortgage companies.

Prior to The Metropolitan Group’s conception and formation, Calen worked with a local mortgage company, translating documents and learning the finance world of residential property.  This is where he found his passion for real estate.

Calen started a Property Management Company in 2008.  Since then, the company has grown to manage all types of property across Metro Denver.

Calen has consulted and assisted hundreds of clients over his 6-year career in the real estate industry.  This includes purchasing, selling, leasing and managing, financing and valuation of real property in the Denver area.  In a relatively short career in real estate, Calen has been recognized with the following:

  • 2008 & 2009 Executive Sales Club Member
  • Top 50 Finalist Realtor Magazine 30 Under 30

Calen considers himself and the people in his company to be the ‘new school’ of real estate brokers.  He is young, energetic, knowledgeable and leverages the newest technology.  Finding a better, faster way of getting the job done without sacrificing integrity, attention to detail or enjoyment of the job is Calen’s goal for each transaction.

The best thing about real estate is the ability to meet so many interesting and wonderful people I can now call friends.  - Calen Brennan

Paul is the other founding member of The Metropolitan Group at RE/MAX Unlimited and is a principle broker.

Paul lived in Phoenix and Los Angeles with his family before relocating to Denver in 1994.  After graduating from Regis Jesuit High School in 2000, he returned to California to study psychology and play basketball at the University of California Santa Cruz.  After two great years at UCSC, Paul decided to transfer to the University of Puget Sound, where he would continue to play basketball while obtaining a degree in International Political Economy in 2004.

During his senior year, Paul was hired as a Risk Analyst with the international reinsurance brokerage firm Guy Carpenter in Seattle, WA.  While living in Seattle, Paul purchased an investment property in Syracuse, NY with his sister, Mary.  This would become the catalyst for Paul’s real estate career.

Before long, Paul left Seattle for Syracuse, where he would found his own property management company.  In only 3 years from its inception, the company grew to over 100 units.

While selling real estate and managing investment properties, Paul also served as Project Manager for the Walier Loft conversion project.  During this 2 year, $3.5 million dollar project, Paul obtained federal grant money in the amount of $300,000, coordinated with architects, the Syracuse Economic Development Office, City Planning, zoning and general contractors to convert a historic chocolate factory in Syracuse’s Little Italy into 14 lofts and 2 retail units.

Once the Walier project was complete, Paul returned to Denver to be closer to his family.  Upon his return to Colorado, Paul started a new property management company with long-time friend Calen Brennan.

Since beginning his real estate career in 2005, Paul has had the pleasure of working with hundreds of clients.  Paul believes that integrity and hard work take priority over all others.  While many people consider real estate to be a sales business, Paul views his role as one of consultant and educator.

My goal is to educate my clients in order to empower them to make the best possible decision for themselves, their families and their investment goals.  – Paul Williams
