How will Denver neighbhorhoods respond to the recent recession?

Although we have been relatively fortunate overall in the Denver housing market, at least when looking at cities like Phoenix, Las Vegas, Miami, and other largely coastal areas, it may not always be in the neighborhoods within Denver that you would expect. We must remember that the recent housing recession is most accurately described as a market correction. Due to several factors in the late 1990's and early 2000's, Because this is largely a market correction, and not a blanketed recession, we are seeing some very different numbers in different neighborhoods through the Denver Metro area. Keep in mind, like politics, all Real Estate is local. Take the national news about the housing market with a grain of salt, and read your local publications, as well as blogs like this.
